Find answers to some of the questions you may have regarding InCluded here. We’ve addressed some of the most common ones below, but if something isn’t clear feel free to contact us. We’ll be happy to assist you in any way possible.
InCluded is a safe space for neurodiverse children, we call them VIP's, and a resource for parents who are looking for help in navigating their children's development.
What is InCluded?
VIP=Very Important Person which is what every participant is to us.
Crew Member= Staff Every VIP has a crew, right?
Special Guest= Family Members (or anyone specifically for the VIP). We mean it when we say every participant is a VIP so we will not allow anyone to steal their focus but you matter to us too!
IGP= Individual Game Plan Every success story starts with a plan. We are a team working with you to set your VIP up for success so we will start them off the same way
What are VIP's and other terms?
Mental Health issues are a pandemic, it affects everyone yet there is not enough research or resources to provide help. InCluded is here to change that. Most afterschool services are not equipped for children with neurodiverse needs nor do they understand the level of attention each child requires. InCluded provides a safe community for kids that in most scenarios feel left out or misunderstood. We believe this environment is the first step in preventing greater mental health crisis
Why is InCluded Important?
NO! InCluded is dedicated to not being another place where a VIP goes to be told what they are doing wrong and why they are different. We are focused on helping each VIP understand that their differences doesn't have to be a hinderance in life. We are devoted to helping each and every VIP establish and build a foundation in life to operate from. Things like life skills, discussing morals, values..you know some of the things we used to see on tv shows growing up. We are not a traditional therapy like ABA or CBT but we do use techniques from varying therapies inside of our program.
Is InCluded Just Another Service for my VIP?
Each day will include time for the VIP's to socialize with other members, work on group projects, participate in group discussions, physical activity time as well as receive support needed with emotional regulation and homework.
What will my VIP's day look like at InCluded
Remember we said you matter too? We are feverishly working on gathering a list of resources for you to easily refer to or have available to assist you. We will also have a parent support group. Until then, please do not hesitate to ask a Crew Member for anything you may need. If we don't have an answer, we will work to get one and get back to you.
What resources do we offer for parents?
Funds will initially go towards securing a location for InCluded. We will then put funds towards any items needed to run InCluded on a daily basis and ensuring we can pay our dedicated staff members.
What do fundraising funds go towards?
100%. All donations will go towards the operating costs of InCluded to ensure we can remain open and continue to service as many VIP's as possible.
What do fundraising funds go towards?
Yes! Sign up to be notified when our donation portal opens and then feel free to host a fundraising party at your home and then submit funds collected.
Can I organize a fundraising event at my home?
InCluded wants to provide a center where children-teens are able to enjoy fun but skill developing activities. For parents, we want to be able to use our network and technology to chart a path for future children and parents to have a framework for success.

Quality over quantity, we want people who believe in our mission and want to play a role in working towards a solution with us. We will work to expand InCluded but only with the correct staff in place.
What type of partners are InCluded looking for?
Your VIP will learn things like: life skills, team work and cooperation, self advocating, critical thinking and practical application (as much as we can). This will be incorporated into every day and all of our activities just like it will be in every real life scenario they are in.
What will my VIP learn at InCluded?
Unfortunately, we can't do it all...yet. InCluded is not the best place for your VIP if they are non-verbal or violent in group settings. This is not a clear or easy answer. We want to help as many as possible. If you have a slight belief that your VIP may thrive at InCluded, contact us and let's talk through it together!
Are there any neurodiversities InCluded cannot assist with?
Progress is measured by counting the amount of money raised/secured vs the amount we need to operate successfully.
How is progress towards the fundraising goal measured?
You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer for positions working with VIP's. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer in any other type of position.
